Public sector Indian Bank today revised its FCNR (B) and NRE deposits interest rates with effect from January 1.
For FCNR (B) deposits, the revised interest rate in US dollars has been fixed at 1.98 per cent for deposits of one year and above, but less than two years.
Similarly, for two years and above but less than three years, it has revised the interest rates from 2.01 per cent to 2.39 per cent.
For three years and above, but less than four years, it has been revised from 2.56 per cent to 3.04 per cent.
For NRE term deposits, the revised rate has been fixed at 2.73 per cent for one year and above but less than two years.
The bank has also revised NRE term deposits at 3.14 per cent (from 2.76 per cent existing) for two years and above, but less than 3 years and at 3.79 per cent for deposits of 3 years and upto 5 years (3.31 per cent existing), the release added.
