Swiss Re chief says sector needs to be treated differently from mainstream insurance
The 26 per cent cap on foreign investment in insurance joint ventures has kept leading reinsurers at bay, according to Dhananjay Date, managing director of Swiss Re Services India.
Date feels reinsurance ought to be treated differently from the insurance industry in terms of foreign investment.
