K Ramakrishnan takes over as Chief Executive of IBA

The Indian Banks Association (IBA), today said K Ramakrishnan has taken over as its chief executive.        

He takes over with effect from August 4, a IBA release issued here stated.

Ramakrishnan is a former chairman and managing director of Andhra Bank.        

He succeeds H N Sinor who stepped down as chief executive on July 31 after being at the helm for five years, the release added.
