Kakathiya bank rated second best RRB

 Instituted by State Bank of India (SBI) in 2002 for its 30- sponsored RRBs to recognise the performance and motivate the staff, the award has gone to Kakatiya Grameen Bank based on its performance in business development, profitability, recovery performance and NPA reduction, productivity and general efficiency.

 Kakathiya Grameena Bank will be honoured with a trophy by Venkatachalam, managing director and group executive of SBI, at the annual conference of RRB chairmen to be held on December 4-5 at Madurai.

 Jointly owned by central government (50 per cent), state government (15 per cent) and SBI (35 per cent), KGB is managed by SBI as a sponsor banks and is being operated only in Warangal district.
