Kaushal is new IDFC risk officer

Kaushal has taken charge from 1st July 2014 onwards

Infrastructure financier IDFC, which was recently granted a commercial banking licence, has appointed Pavan Pal Kaushal as its chief risk officer. Kaushal has taken charge from Tuesday.

Before joining IDFC, he was heading the Financial Services Risk Practice in Ernst & Young. He has also worked in different roles with ANZ and Citibank prior to this. After getting the banking license, Rajiv Lall, executive chairman of IDFC had said the company plans to hire at least 10-15 more people at the senior management level.

Before Kaushal, IDFC had also hired Ajay Mahajan, who was with YES Bank earlier and Avtar Monga, a former Bank of America executive.
