LIC Housing Finance Ltd (LICHFL) has logged a robust 63 per cent jump in disbursals at Rs 3,200 crore in 2002-03 against Rs 1963 crore in the year-ago period. The company is eyeing a 50 per cent incremental growth in disbursals in 2003-04. Between 1997-98 and 2001-02, the growth in disbursals ranged between 20 per cent and 35 per cent.
In 2002-03, of the six regions the maximum growth in incremental disbursals has come from the north (128 per cent), west 74 per cent, south central 42 per cent, south central 36 per cent, south 32 per cent and east 19 per cent.
