LIC launches unit linked pension plan

Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India launched a unit linked pension plan 'Future Plus' today.

"The plan comes with a host of features like accident benefit, critical illness rider which can be opted for at the time of taking policy and is available with or without life cover," T Chattopadhyay, zonal manager, south central zone said today.

He said the policy can be surrendered at no loss on the bid value of the units after two years of policy existence and a small charge of upto a maxium of 4% is levied if surrendered within two years.

He also highlighted performance of the zone till February 15 and said that the zone stood at number one on four counts on all India map including number of policies and the sum assured.
