The gilts market ended steady after announcement of the auction results.

The benchmark 9.81 per cent 2013 gilt opened at Rs 129.50 (5.89 per cent), edged lower to Rs 129.40 (5.90 per cent) and was dealt at Rs 129.60 (5.88 per cent) just after the auction results.

Yields on corporate bonds edged up by about 10 bps. The 9.25 per cent 2009 PFC paper was dealt at 6.34 per cent as against the previous day
