Sentiment: Bearish
  • The rupee sank to a five-day closing low at 45.2650/2700 per dollar compared with Wednesday's 45.2250/2300.
  • Rupee premiums on forward dollars ended lower. The annualised premium on the six-month dollar dipped to 0.37 per cent.
 
Outlook
The rupee is expected to open between 45.25 and 45.30 per dollar on Friday.
