  • Gilts eased for the first time in three sessions on profit booking but rebounded after RBI dy governor Rakesh Mohan said he saw no inflationary pressures.
  • The benchmark 10-year bond eased to 5.0562 per cent from an afternoon high of 5.0703 per cent. It had ended at 5.0496 per cent on Tuesday.
  • The yield on this key bond has been shaved off by nearly 20 bps in the past two weeks and 10 basis points in the past two days as traders priced in a 25-50 bps cut in the bank rate, currently at six per cent.
