Mundra's task at central bank

S S Mundra, the new deputy governor at the Reserve Bank of India, will be taking care of departments of banking supervision, currency management, financial stability and rural credit, among other things, in his new role. Mundra, who assumed charge on Thursday, has been appointed for a period of three years.
