Partha Dev Datta has joined as the new assistant general manager of the Bhubaneswar circle of Allahabad Bank. Datta, 52, joined as an officer of Allahabad Bank in 1986 and has worked in different capacities in the bank. Prior to joining the Bhubaneswar circle, Datta served as the regional head of Allahabad Bank's South 24 Parganas branch. He appreciated the rapid growth of the bank's Bhubaneswar circle and expressed confidence that the circle's total business would cross Rs 5000 crore by the end of the current financial year.
RSP observes World Dance Day
Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) celebrated the World Dance Day in association with Kalabhumi, a cultural organization of Rourkela. The programme was organised for the first time in order to promote awareness about the rich and vibrant heritage of dance . This is a part of the steel plant's efforts to develop the steel city as a centre of culture under the leadership of its Managing Director S N Singh. The programme was inaugurated by Narayan Pati, general manager (town services and corporate social responsibility). Pati spoke about the importance of preserving and promoting various dance forms.
