Non-life insurers see 17.3% rise in premiums in April-July

Non-life companies collected total premiums of Rs 25,893.80 crore as compared to Rs 22,073.52 crore in this period last fiscal

General insurance companies saw a 17.3% in premium collection for the April to July period, as compared to same period last year.

Non-life companies collected total premiums of Rs 25,893.80 crore as compared to Rs 22,073.52 crore in this period last fiscal.

Private general insurers collected total premiums of Rs 11,517.43 crore, seeing a 24.1% rise compared to first quarter last year. Public general insurers, on the other hand, saw a 12.4% rise in premium collection for this period.
