Bangalore, dubbed the Silicon Valley of India, has had many instances of innovative ideas of individuals taking wings and giving birth to entrepreneurs. While these often happen in silos, people aspiring to take the plunge into entrepreneurship as a career fail to realise what it takes to start a business.

TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), a not-for-profit organisation that strives to create entrepreneurs, is doing this in a more fascinating way where aspiring entrepreneurs can simulate the process of setting up a venture under the guidance of TiE.

Taking a cue from the success of the hugely popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, TiE’s Bangalore chapter has initiated its own avatar, Kaun Banega Entrepreneur. As part of the programme, people aspiring to become successful entrepreneurs can nourish their ideas with a notional funding of Rs 1 crore and cherish getting those incubated with the help of the angel investor community.

As per the guidelines issued by TiE, the teams that desire to participate in the programme can have a maximum of six members each while not more than half of them should be members of TiE Bangalore.
