The bank has increased interest rates on the foreign currency non-resident deposits (FCNR). The rates on dollar deposits for a maturity period of 1-2 years have been raised to 2.33 per cent from the existing 1.74 per cent. Similarly, the rates on dollar deposit of 4-5 years has been revised from 2.36 per cent to 2.83 per cent.
For the dollar deposits having a maturity period of over five years, the rates have been raised to 3.11 per cent.
While the rates for the deposits in the euro for 1-2 years deposit have been increased to 4.21 per cent from 3.98 per cent. For euro deposits of 4-5 years the rates have been revised to 3.66 per cent from 3.42 per cent.
For the deposits in euro over five years, the rates will be 3.64 per cent.
