The Rajasthan Cooperative Minister Parsadi Lal Meena today said that his department would provide crop loan worth Rs 1,000 crore to the farmers during this 'Rabi' season.
Twenty-nine central cooperative banks have been given targets by the cooperative department for loan disbursement, said an official release quoting the minister.
On a joint campaign with Agriculture Department beginning tomorrow, the cooperative department would also provide Kisan Credit cards to deserving farmers, Meena said.
The process of disbursing loans would run from September 15 till March next year, he said.
So far 28.66 lakh farmers have been sanctioned kisan credit cards through cooperative department, he said.
