  • In the forwards segment, premiums on the six-month and one-year dollars closed at 1.87 per cent and 1.69 per cent, respectively

  • Ahead of the anticipated Fed rate hike and year-end valuation, the market reeled under a bearish sentiment
  • Banks sold gilts across all maturities
  • The yield on the 8.07 per cent 2017 paper closed higher at 7.42 per cent as against 7.37 per cent in the weekend
  • Call rates eased to 6.40 per cent
  • The corporate bond market remained lacklustre
