Re ends on a weak note to close at 43.52/$

The rupee ended lower today, with sentiment edgy after the central bank scrapped a derivative used by corporates and foreign funds as a currency hedging tool.

The rupee ended at 43.52 per dollar, weaker than yesterday's 43.51, and down from Friday's one-week high of 43.4575/4625.
