Re moves a tad higher to 43.46/$

The rupee ended at a one-week high today, after oil and gold importers wound up their purchases of the dollar midway through the session and traders opted to unwind long dollar positions ahead of a long weekend.

The rupee closed at 43.46 per dollar, a touch stronger than yesterday's close of 43.48 and well off a morning low of 43.5250.
