Remit2India launches new services for NRIs

Remit2India, which provides online money transfer services, has announced the launch of additional services for NRIs ranging from investment advice to travel packages for families of NRIs.
 
Addressing a media conference, K Suresh Rangarajan, chief operating officer of Remit2India, said, "Money transfers worth around Rs 6,000 crore are made every year to India. In fact, the state of Andhra Pradesh contributes the maximum to this amount. However, NRIs have been looking for more services. So now they can gift travel packages or health check-ups to their family members in India or even buy and sell real estate through our services."
 
The company has also tied up with Birla Sun Life for providing insurance services to NRIs.
 
Remit2India has also announced the launch of NRI Family Welfare Association wherein members can avail of complimentary health care packages, discounted travel and pilgrimage tours, trauma and emergency care and invitation to cultural events.
