RRB has first ATM

Karnataka revenue minister Jagadeesh Shettar said that the state government will use regional rural banks to the maximum extent possible to help farmers and the rural populace in general.
 
Speaking after inaugurating the first ATM of the Karnataka Vikasa Grameena Bank at its Line Bazaar branch in Dharwad on Sunday he said that it will be meaningful if the ATM facility is extended to rural areas also.
 
Shettar said that the single window system will be set up at the Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation office in Hubli where the people can remit all their bills as is being done in Bangalore.
 
Minister for primary and secondary education Basavaraj Horatti presented the ATM cards to customers and said that the banks should consider customers' convenience while initiating measures.
