The appreciation of the rupee against the dollar is not high when compared with other currencies.
The Chinese, Hong Kong and Malaysia currencies have also not appreciated but they are pegged to the dollar, said H A C Prasad, economic advisor, ministry of commerce, Government of India.
Prasad was speaking at an interactive session on invoicing patterns of Indian exporters organised by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations here on Thursday.
