The circle office has also identified 34 locations for installing railway tickets vending machines. The bank has one million ATM card holders and disperses more than Rs 3 crore cash per month through the ATM network. |
SBI (Chandigarh Circle) Chief General Manager Hemant Contractor said out of 680 branches in the circle, 312 were already networked and the rest would be networked by year end. |
The bank was also contemplating disbursing pension through the ECS (electronic clearance service) and initiated a centralised pension processing at Chandigarh enabling 26,000 customers of the said service. |
The Chandigarh circle registered a 9 per cent growth in the deposits and 30 per cent growth in advances and recorded a CD ratio of 76 per cent in the last financial year. |
