South Indian Bank on Thursday said it had clocked its highest-ever quarterly net profit of Rs 77 crore in the September quarter, as against Rs 72.56 crore in the year-ago period.
The bank registered a total income of Rs 624.38 crore during the second quarter, as against Rs 534.38 crore in the year ago period. In the first half of the current financial year, it earned a total income of Rs 1,206.16 crore, as against Rs 1,055.62 crore in the year-ago period, up 14.26 per cent.
Its net profit for the six-month period stood at Rs 135.44 crore, as against Rs 132.68 crore in the year-ago period.
