Public sector lender State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) today said its net profit rose 8.93 per cent to Rs 220.98 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, over the same period last fiscal.
Total income declined to Rs 1,788.40 crore for the latest quarter as compared to Rs 1,795.97 crore for the same period previous fiscal, SBH said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2009, the company posted a net profit of Rs 565.58 crore against Rs 443.52 crore for the same period last fiscal.
Total income of the company for the nine-month period ended December 31, 2009, stood at Rs 5,226.98 crore against Rs 4,753.49 crore for the same period previous fiscal.
