Public sector lender State Bank of Indore today reported 25.69 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 78.62 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, over the corresponding period a year earlier.
Total income of the lender also rose to Rs 776.39 crore in the latest quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 746.25 crore of the same period last year, State Bank of Indore said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
For the half-year ended September, the bank posted a net profit of Rs 155.97 crore, up 48.31 per cent against Rs 105.16 crore of the corresponding period last financial year.
State Bank of Indore is a part of State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest bank.
