State Bank of Mysore recorded a 157 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 182.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2008, as compared to Rs 70.90 crore for the same period last year, the bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
Total income of the bank rose to Rs 1,060.92 crore for the quarter under review, against Rs 728.20 crore for the same period a year ago.
For the nine month ended December 31, the company had a net profit of Rs 287.06 crore, as against Rs 234.92 crore for the same quarter last fiscal.
