The bank has achieved an annualised EPS of Rs 9.17 which gives it a fairly low PE multiple of slightly less than four.
This is partially the result of the sharp rise in earnings as the share price has more than doubled to around Rs 34 in the last one year.
The better margins are reflected in the improvement in return on net worth, to 27 per cent from 20 per cent. Return on assets is up to 1.83 per cent from the previous half year
