S Santhana Krishnan, DMD and corporate development officer (CDO), has been given additional charge for DMD inspection and audit.

This is the first reshuffle that has taken place after A K Purwar took over as chairman late last month. The managing directors of the bank are A K Batra and P N Venkatachalam.

While Batra is the group head of corporate banking, Venkatachalam is the group head of national banking. Before taking over as MD, Venkatachalam was the CCO, a post which has not been taken over by Bhattacharjee.

Other executives occupying the top slots are K S V Krishnamachray (DMD, associate banks), Rajendra Asthana (DMD, international operations) and BD Sumitra (DMD and chief financial officer).

The bank will soon hold interview to fill in the posts of three DMDs and 13 chief general managers.

Purwar, who has superseded three senior executives on his way to becoming the SBI chairman, will have a three and a half year stint
