Visakhapatnam Cooperative Bank has tied up Mumbai-based Infro Soft to provide core banking solutions in all its branches across the state. The bank has 28 branches and 7 more will come up during this fiscal.
The company will provide its software and operate for three years after which the bank will operate the system, Manam Anjaneyulu, chairman, VCB, told mediapersons. It expects to complete this process by June.
The bank registered 26 per cent growth in deposits in just ended fiscal, compared with the preceding year. It attributed this growth to addition of 4 branches in 2012-13 and small investors among others.
