State Bank of India has extended the last date to pay the application fees for their PO recruitment process till May 30, 2016.This extension comes after numerous complaints received from candidates about errors in their online payment gateway.
SBI had invited applications to fill 2200 vacancies of probationary officers. While the last date to submit online registrations was May 24, applicants couldn’t pay the application fee.
They were encountering ‘communication error’ message on the payment gateway page leading to incomplete registrations.
This led SBI to extend the last date to May 27 but even then there was no respite for candidates, as the problems continued. Many had infact stayed awake late in the night to make fee payments only to find it not working.
On May 27th, the bank released an announcement postponing the last date for fee payment. As per the latest notice, candidates who have completed their registrations can now pay their fees from 27-05-2016 (00:00 hrs) to 30-05-2016 (23:59 hrs)
Now, candidates are able to make their payments & confirm their registrations successfully. If anyone had only registered & not paid the fee, their application will be summarily rejected. They wont be able to appear for the written exams as well.
