33rd Tri Services Commanders' Conference Hosted by South Western Air Command SWAC

The Tri-Services Commanders' Conference of Southern Region is an annual feature amongst the seven Commanders' of the Army, Navy and the Air Force [Southern Command of the Indian Army, Western Naval Command, Eastern Naval Command and Southern Naval Command of Indian Navy, South Western Air Command and Southern Air Command of the Indian Air Force and Andaman and Nicobar Command, a Tri-Service Command].

The 33rd Tri-Services Commanders' Conference is being hosted by AOC-in-C SWAC, Air Marshal RK Dhir AVSM VM ADC at Air Force Station Jodhpur from 07 Jul to 08 Jul 16.

The objective of the two days Tri-Services Commanders' Conference is to strengthen and promote jointness amongst the three services. The concept of operations in a network centric warfare scenario and exploitation of newly inducted weapon systems for enhancing operational capability in a synergised tri-service environment would be the focus of the conference. Matters related to Joint Operations and tactical issues related to Southern/ South-Western region will also be discussed.
