ACC Appointments
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following: (i) Additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Price Stabilization Fund Trust (PSFT) (Joint Secretary level) under the Department of Commerce to Ms. Anita Praveen, IAS (TN:89), Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce for a period of three months from 11.11.2015 to 10.02.2016, or till such time the post is filled up on regular basis, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
(ii) Shri T. V. Ravichandran, IPS(TN:90) as Minister(Personnel) in the Embassy of India, Berlin (IG Level) under the Ministry of External Affairs, in the pay band of Rs. 37,400-67,000/-(PB-4) plus grade pay of Rs.10,000/- for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Amitabh Ranjan, IPS(MT:88).
(iii) Additional charge of the post of Chairman (JS level), Coffee Board, Bengaluru under the Department of Commerce to Ms. Leena Nair, IAS (TN:82), Chairperson (Secretary level), Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Department of Commerce for a period of three months from 12.11.2015 to 11.02.2016, or till such time the post is filled up on regular basis, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
(iv) Shri Anwar Hussain Shaik, 1RTS (2000), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Railways, has been selected for appointment as Director in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier. He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Consumer Affairs.
(v) Sh. Babu Lal Meena, Ind. Ordnance Factory Service (2005), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Defence, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier. He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
(vi) Shri Gopi Chandra Chhawaniya, Ind. Telecom Service (1991), who was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Telecommunications, has been selected for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier. He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
(vii) Shri Praveen Vashista, IPS (BH:1991) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Rakesh Singh, IAS(KN:1989). The appointment of Shri Praveen Vashista, IPS (BH:1991) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines vice Shri Naresh Kumar, IAS (UT:1987) issued, vide DOPT order No.33/12/2015-E0(SM-1) dated 03.12.2015, is cancelled
(viii) Shri Subhash Chandra, IFS (UT:1988) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Naresh Kumar, IAS (UT:1987).
(ix) Ms. Meera Swarup, IA&AS (1988) as Joint Secretary & FA , Department of Expenditure from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri H.P. Rao, IA&AS(1981).
(x) Shri R.K. Chaturvedi, IAS (MP:1987) as Joint Secretary, Implementation Cell, Seventh Central Pay Commission under the Department of Expenditure from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by shifting one post of DS/Director level from Department of Economic Affairs to Department of Expenditure and upgrading the same to JS level for a period of two years or until a regular Joint Secretary level vacancy arises in the Department of Expenditure, whichever is earlier.
(xi) Ms. Deepti Umashankar, IAS (HY:1993), Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat as Joint Secretary against the newly created Joint Secretary level post in the Cabinet Secretariat, to be treated akin to non-CSS, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of maximum overall seven year central deputation tenure upto 26.12.2017 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by upgrading one vacant post of DS/Director level in the Cabinet Secretariat to JS level for a period of two years.
