Agriculture Minister of Bihar calls on Union Agriculture Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh

Agriculture Minister of Bihar, Shri Narendra Singh today called on Union Agriculture Minister, Shri Radha Mohan Singh and discussed long pending issue of setting up Central Agricultural University at Pusa in Bihar. Planning Commission had given in-principle approval in 2009 to set up this university. Both the Ministers discussed this issue at length in the presence of senior officials of ICAR. After detailed deliberations, Secretary, ICAR was directed to seek legal opinion on this issue which is pending since long because of no decision in respect of 191 court cases.
