ATR on MCI'S Functioning
A four member committee headed by Vice Chairman NITI Aayog has been constituted for restructuring of MCI for devising an implementation framework. Based on the recommendations of the Group of Experts (GoE) headed by Late Prof. Ranjeet Roy Chaudhary and the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare Report tabled in the House on 8th March, 2016, the Committee has framed a draft National Medical Commission Bill".
The Minister of State (Health and Family Welfare), Sh Faggan Singh Kulaste stated this in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha here today.
