In order to give succor to the drought affected areas of Andhra Pradesh, Union Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Shri Birender Singh has approved release of more than 8 Crore rupees for repair of the water supply schemes which were damaged due to Hud-Hud cyclone.
In this connection, a delegation of Parliamentarians of Rayalaseema region had met Union Urban Development Minister, Shri M Venkaiah Naidu and Union Rural Development Minister, Shri Birender Singh Yeasterday seeking assistance for four drought hit districts of Rayalaseema region.
