CIC direction on travel expenses of Ministers
The Chief Information Commissioner had asked the Government to consider proactive disclosure regarding the official tours of Ministers and Government officials. The Government has already issued an OM bearing No. 1/8/2012-IR dated 11th September, 2012 regarding suo motu disclosure on official tours of Ministers and other officials.
This was stated by the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Dr. Jitendra Singh in a written reply to a question by Mohammed Faizal in the Lok Sabha today.
