Committee to Review the Existing PPP Cell in Railway Board Constituted

The Ministry of Railways has decided to constitute a Committee headed by Shri Ajay Shankar, IAS (Retd.), former Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (Govt. of India) to review the existing Public Private Partnership (PPP) Cell in the Railway Board. The Committee will recommend measures needed to make the Cell more effective, customer friendly and result oriented.

The Infrastructure Directorate of Railway Board will be the Nodal Directorate for functioning of the Committee and Executive Director/Traffic (PPP) Railway Board will be the Secretary to the Committee.
