The Government has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 119.07 crore for acquisition of 135 feet wide land for a distance of 179 km along the International Border with Pakistan under the operational control of Border Security Force (BSF). This 135 feet wide land includes land acquired for fencing purpose. During the year 2014-15, an amount of Rs. 12.12 crore has been released to State Government on the basis of the progress of land acquisition by the State Government.
