The impending cyclone Hudhud is likely to make landfall along the Andhra Pradesh and Odisha coast. Army resources have been prepositioned, as under :-
(a) Eight Rescue Teams and Four Engineer Task Forces at Vishakhapatnam and Sri Kakulam in Andhra Pradesh.
(b) Eight Rescue Teams at Gopalpur (Including Road Opening Parties).
Additional resources have been kept on standby and will be mobilised based on the developing situation which is being monitored closely.
