Dr Jitendra Singh felicitates Civil Services toppers
The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports, MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh felicitated the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2015 toppers here today. The interaction was organised by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Jitendra Singh said that good governance is essential for the development of the country and the young bureaucrats are going to be the tools of good governance. He told the toppers that they have three decades to serve and they should utilise their potential in the overall development of the country. He also said that their batch will also get training as Assistant Secretaries at the Centre and they will be the second such batch to get this training.
While interacting with the toppers, the Minister said that the current Government had started this tradition of felicitating and interacting with the fresh CSE inductees. The toppers thanked the Department and also shared their experience. The parents and family members of the toppers were also present during the function. They also interacted with the Minister and the officials of the Department. This group of toppers represented the pan-India distribution of successful candidates.
Shri Sanjay Kothari, Secretary, DoPT and other senior officers of the Department were present during the interaction.
