The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways had received a proposal from the Government of Chhattisgarh for setting up of an Institute of Driving Training and Research (IDTR) at Naya Raipur. The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has approved the project with total cost of Rs. 17 crore excluding taxes in August 2017. The time frame to complete the project is 24 months from the date of sanction.
This information was given by Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Shipping and Chemical & Fertilizers Shri Mansukh L. Mandaviya in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today.
