First Batch of Indian Contingent for Para-Asian Games, 2014 Leaves for Incheon, South Korea

The Ministry of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Youth Affairs and Sports has cleared a contingent of 135 persons including 87 athletes, 3 guide runners, 40 coaches and escorts and 5 officials for Para-Asian Games, 2014 at Incheon, South Korea. Para-Asian Games is to be held from 18th to 24th October, 2014.

Indian contingent will take part in events of Athletics, Badminton, Swimming, Shooting, Powerlifting, Para Table Tennis, Blind Judo, Archery and Wheel Chair Fencing.

The first batch of 60 persons has already left for Incheon. The remaining members of the contingent will leave later today i.e. 15th October and tomorrow i.e. 16th October, 2014.
