The NCC Girls Expedition to Mt Ladakhi (5345m) was flagged-off by Director General, National Cadets Corps (NCC) Lt Gen Vinod Vashisht from HQ DG NCC, New Delhi on 19 May 2017.

The expedition will be going to Mt Ladakhi Peak (5345m) in general area Beas Kund ahead of Manali, Himchal Pradesh and will be training at Solang under guidance of ABVIMAS, Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The expedition contains twenty girls from various parts of the country.

Mt Ladakhi is a snow clad peak perched at an altitude of 5345m in the Pir Panjal ranges in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. The merger of Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges which enhances the beauty of the Beas Kund basin is in the near vicinity. Ladakhi Peak is technically a challenging peak which would require all the mountaineering skill and expertise for a successful attempt.
