There are 146 National Highways projects earmarked for the state of Karnataka for the year 2017-18. During the year 2016-17 a total length of 240 km, and during the present year up to end of June 2017 a total length of 49.6 km have been converted to 4/6 lane in the state. The total outlay for the current year is Rs 6,861 cr.
This information was given by Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Shipping and Chemical & Fertilizers Shri Mansukh L. Mandaviya in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today.
