The Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Pon. Radhakrishnan informed the Rajya Sabha today that the funds for maintenance of National Highways in the country including the State of Odisha is done on the basis of lane length of NHs entrusted with the State/UTs, traffic density, inter-se priority and availability of funds. The details of funds allocated to different States for maintenance of National Highways (NHs) during 2013-14 and 2014-15 is as under:
