Meeting of Public Sector Undertakings and Public Sector Banks to be Held in New Delhi Tomorrow to Discuss Promotion of Sports
Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has convened a meeting of major Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Public Sector Banks (PSBs) in New Delhi tomorrow (24 November, 2016) to discuss how to promote Sports in the country. The Minister of State (I/C) for Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Vijay Goel will chair the meeting.
This is for the first time that such a meeting has been convened by the ministry to make concerted efforts to bring all stakeholders on one platform for the promotion of sports. The meeting is expected to take stock of the current contribution of PSUs and PSBs for promotion of Sports and their future plans in this direction.
