Minister of State Shri Giriraj Singh assumes charge of the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises

The Minister of State Shri Giriraj Singh assumed the charge of the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterpirses here today.

Welcoming Shri Giriraj Singh, the Union Minister for MSME Shri Kalraj Mishra said that he firmly believed that the Ministry of MSME through its various schemes will motivate and empower the common person. And added that he was confident that the Ministry will greatly benefit from the experience of Shri Giriraj Singh who had been a Minister in the Bihar Government in promoting the programmes of the Ministry.

The Minister further added that we have to expand the micro, small & medium enterprises all over India in such a manner that it boosts the vision Make in India- Made in India of the Prime Minister. Where every skilled person can get a job making the country an industrial hub and also fulfilling the increasing expectation of the youth, giving them a new India where they can empower themselves through their skills.

Shri Kalraj Mishra said that he along with Shri Giriraj Singh and the officials of the Ministry will work together towards realizing this.

Speaking in the occasion Shri Giriraj Singh said that Shri Kalraj Mishra is his mentor and that he would work with his full potential in fulfilling the responsibility given to him.

Shri Giriraj Singh was welcomed by the Secretary, Shri Madhav Lal and other senior official of the Ministry.
