Observation Posts of BSF
During 2011, Government had approved construction of 179 km composite bund, metalled road and naka-cum-machan-cum-fighting bunkers including land acquisition of 135 feet wide strip along the International Border(IB) in Jammu region at an estimated cost of Rs.341 crore. This project also includes fortifying of existing Observation Posts. This was stated by Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju in Lok Sabha today in a written reply to a question by SHRI G. Hari.
