The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will present the Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme Awards tomorrow (November 19, 2014) at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme Awards was instituted during 1992-93 for giving recognition to outstanding work done under the National Service Scheme. The National Service Scheme is one of the flagship programmes of the Government of India which aims at development of personality and character of students through voluntary community service.
